American Dreams
American Dreams is an allusive drama tv series launched on September 29, 2002. The show is set against the memorable music, the cultural conflict, and the Vietnam war during 1960's, as it follows the story of the Pryor family of Philadelphia during the 1960's.

While they continue to dance on Dick Clark’s locally produced “American Bandstand,” they find as seniors at East Catholic High School, that the world around them is growing even closer with issues of the war, racism, feminism, and even teen marriage and pregnancy.

Meg’s mother Helen (Gail O'Grady) continues to face the challenge of the era’s modern woman, working and holding the family together. Jack Pryor (Tom Verica) is the head of the family, who braces himself for the sociological and economic changes as he prepares to run for city councilman. John “JJ” Pryor (Will Estes) who is a U.S. Marine fighting in Vietnam, struggles to find his way home to his family and his ex-fiancee, Beth Mason (Rachel Boston), who is pregnant with their child.
